yeah but breakdown companies are more likely to just take me to a garage which id rather not have to do if a few tools can save me the money :). Also what size C spanner do i need for the rear shock pre-load?

just an idea for a kit to carry

Allen keys - 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm

spanners - 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 14mm

screw driver - posi-drive and flat head

an old mobile phone turned off witha pay-and go sim in it - just incase anything should happen and you dont have your main one on you.

aned a bit of money in a water proof bag £10 note, 1x 10p, 2 x 20p, 1x 50p and 1 x £1 just incase you loose your card or anyother eventuallity that may occur.

small roll of insulation tape

a small assortment of zip-ties useful for a quick get me home fix.

as for a the preload adjustment c spanner i found it to more of a hinderance and use a pair of mole grips not the one s wit the adjuster screw but the ones with ths slide section.

it will never replace a full tool chest but you can usually sort out the minor problems with it

all the best

There are no Pozi Drive screws on any Japanese motorcycle - they don't use them. There are only Philips-alike crosshead screws. These drivers are very different - do not mix them up.

I've got a spare toolkit if you're after a c spanner.

Why do you think most DIY'd secondhand bikes come with chewed up fittings?

I also have a fixer-peg in there and a spare brake lever.
