Someone pushed my bike over

This morning I woke up to this:

http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/h...3/DSCF1651.jpg

When I lifted it upright it ended up like this when it was originally parked perpendicular to the curb:

It fell over the sidestand side?! And pivoted 45 degrees. This must mean that someone heaved on it from the rear end, throwing the rear over to the left from behind. The disc lock was still in the original position, so I don't think it was someone trying to wheel it off. Happened at night after 2am and before it started raining.

:( effing bar stards, why would they do that? Its so pointless. You can see where the side stand dug in, it was still balanced on it, it must have a taken a concerted effort. I haven't told the Police sadly, not much point as far as I can see.

:(

H'mm I didn't think it was worth calling the Police, when some irkesome twonk kicked off the wing mirror of my car. But at least a crime number was recorded. The local bobby called on all my neighbours to see if anyone had seen anything too.

Didn't solve the crime, but at least some action was taken. He did offer to get the SOCO down to take any prints too.

So maybe worth considering, nothing to loose

Blimey Nick, you're having a run of bad luck.

Can't imagine it, but have you p1ssed off one of your neighbours recently?

The bane of modern life. Pointless vandalism and insufficient interest from the police. :(

Hope there's no real damage. Gear lever looks a bit bent, but at least your clutch lever is intact.

I know its in a giant cover, so there was no tarmac to scratch it on its fall, but to me it looks like someone purposely laid it on its side as a prank....just as theres no mirror broken or owt......feckin idiots! I'd have thought pushing it would have caused something to break.

Very true!

It does seem a very malicious thing to do, it couldn't just be a matter of two drunks having a bit of a tussle and banging into it...

Pete has it bang on, the gear lever is bent into the rod thing :(. The mirror and indicator was a bit bent, but its the gear lever that is now too bent to use :(. Does anyone have one spare? I'll list it in the wanted section.

Pete: I am friends with most of my neighbours, we live on a nice dead end road. It is near a main chav thoroghfare but they usually never come down our road. It does look rather intended to be random, but I always ride at 20mph in our residential bit, never rev my bike, and have my baffle in, so I can't have legitimately annoyed someone. :(

aaah I need to put me specs on :-(
It seems so infantile, its pretty wedged in between those cars to even warrant bothering with......time to get it in your living room ;-)
