I don't think for a moment he won't be there, it's his usual tactic, the bone has healed and it still hurts he's saying, just in case he doesn't do well.

His times in the testing were the fastest:smt083 God he annoys me, but I want him racing, to get fairly and squarely spanked again by Rossi or hopefully Hayden.

More drivel coming out of his trap. Don't like the bloke, though he is clearly a good rider.

I want Hayden to do well, that'd certainly put Stoner in his place!

That would be great. I really want Hayden to do well this year-maybe stoner thinks Hayden is a threat, thus the dramatics starting already.

Stoner is a top class rider and one of the best of recent times, but like most of the best(but not all)he is a bit of an ar£hole as a person.Doohan and Foggy were just as bad when they were racing.

Stoner is a great rider, but will he ever learn to stop whinging and just let his riding speak for him. Doesn't he realise that his incessant whining just makes people dislike him. Would love to see Hayden kick his **** this year but I think he may struggle on the Ducati. However, there is no doubting that Rossi willbe supremely quick again and looks good for yet another title. I never tire of seeing him win though. Just hope JT gets over his issues with Colin Edwards at Tech 3 and can show his true talent. Its going to be another interesting season. Cant wait.

I don't dislike Stoner but he could do with growing up a bit, he is not a good loser at all.

It does seem as if he's making excuses in advance. I honestly think he's still rattled from last season's second half mauling by Rossi (after the Laguna race). To say what he's said there, and to boast about a small "victory" despite an "injury" just sounds like someone who is trying to convince people he's the best, but who knows he can't prove it because he doubts it himself.

I'd love to see Hayden as a contender. I can see he and Stoner falling out very quickly, particularly if Hayden posts some quicker times or scores more points.

Rossi for the title though. Gonna be some great scraps between Pedro, Jorge and Dovi too.

well i think stoner's a good racer you've gotta remember he's only in his early 20's and under a hell of a lot of pressure i do think sometime's people should lay off him a bit i'm looking forward to seeing what hayden can do with the duke think it might suit him.

Stoner out?
I sincerely hope not! The guy has amazing talent (the picture in MCN is very reminiscent of Micky D at Repsol Corner, Catalunya in '98.
I was at Donington for the Day of Champions when Casey got booed. It was appalling - I just don't get it. I was never a fan of Fogarty, but I admired his talent on the track....and I would certainly never have had a go at him by booing!
Better to be a Casey fan, than a Rossi 'sheep'!
