The Brits + Duffy !
is it me , or does multi brits winner Duffy sound like The Chipmunks "doing" Louis Armstrong......
whata boring show ....any evnt where Iron Maiden making an appearence is the highlight is in serious trouble...... as for Gavin & Stacey chaps - err, that wasnt the career highlight your agent said it would be, was it now .....:cool: |

It was pretty poor. And the set was mostly made out of cardboard. Nice touch :)
Yeah Corden and Horne were lame. Highlight for me was after hundreds of celebrities trying to look cool whilst having cameras shoved in their faces was Matt Lucas getting right into camera and waving. And if that was my highlight thats how bad it must have been, Kings of Leon were good. |

The brits has never been the same since the Jarvis Cocker inceident!! Its now live, well run 15 seconds behind live, so much more boring. The hosts although good in thier own right/field, were painful to watch, not quite the Fleetwood/Fox combo, but almost as bad. As for the bands. Hmmm, never been a fan of live music, but the Tings Tings/Estelle combo was good, as well as the Petshop Boys. Im just happy that Coldplay didnt get anything. I still think they are the most overrated band since U2!
As for duffy, Good on her. It always nice to be appreciated, however, i do think her Single, Mercy, is seriously over played, and she needs much more new material (There wasnt much on the album!) I doubt if she will be around in 30 years time, like Iron Maiden, but nor will most of the artists on there. Its all about current pop music! Hightlight for me is to find out that Natalie Imbruglia has long hair again. I went rightoff her when she cut it off! *Growls* Now, wheres Jarvis' phone number Oh and as for a Desmodeci, why anyone lusts after an unreliable version of an overgrown VFR i still dont understand! |

I thought it was awful.
I only watched it because my friend made me.:D The set wouldn't have been out of place in a kiddies show and the presenters were soooo not funny. The Hoff was soooo drooling over Fearne (was it Fearne?) and Sarah Harding was obviously having a good time.:drink: |
