Anybody been out for a ride?
 

Just took ol' blue out for a ride. What a ride it was sooo nice to not be absolutely freezing and not have to worry too much about the roads.

Went from Northampton up to Rutland Water via Midlands Superbikes (only to find I couldn't get a cuppa tea)
Rutland water then provided me with a very poor excuse for a cuppa tea. But they have paved the bit of grass outside the Cafe so there is alot more sitting room for the summer.

Anyway just thought I'd share. Roads were good (slight salt residue inbetween the tyres tracks).

Looking forward to 2moro. Whoop whoop.

i was thinking about going out today.. but the roads here are still gross and i never have fun when im not comfortable :(

I went out today, took a bimble out towards daventry direction earlyish today and took it easy as the roads were still a bit greasy.
Popped in to see a mate for a coffee as the free ones are the best just as another of his mates turned up....on a fully faired sv650s... so another new member of the org on the way!
The roads cleared up nicely this afternoon which gave me the first chance to get the chicken strips of the sides of the tyres:cool:

Has been the first proper ride of the year for me and more to come :)

I'm defo going out tomorrow, the roads are pretty much clear now thanks to the rain/drizzle all week and tomorrow is double figure temps and no rain.....bonus.

Yup out yesterday and today at lkunch, yesterday was much more fun, my tyres became very warm after my hoon. Straight up and straight back that road to Great Harrowden past the airfield, love it.

Went out yesterday. Stratford- upon-avon. Loads of bikers meet there, great variety of bikes. And the Police now allow us to park along the road by the RSC building. Can get a cuppa there no problem.

If anyone fancies give me a shout I've picked a good route along some twisties.
