Can anyone help?

Hi guys, don't know if any of you great people of the .org can help us out?

My 9 year old daughter Megan is a gymnast who is a competitive squad member at our local gym club, training for 11.5 hours a week. She has the opportunity, along with 12 other girls, to go to the Nadia Comeneci Gym School in Onesti, Romania for a weeks training in April. She will be training with Romanian girls her age, in the school that is situated next to where the Romanian National Squad trains.

All the parents are fundraising to help keep the cost of the trip down, and we have organised raffles, bag packs at the local supermarket and sponsored events, and are looking for donations or corporate sponsorship.

If you or your Company would like to donate some money to help fund this once in a lifetime trip (who knows, you could be helping an Olympian of the future!) please pm me and I'll send you details.

Ta muchly, Nick :thumleft:

Though I'm unfortunately not in a position to help financially (skint student n all that ;)) I wish both of you all the best in your efforts.

I represented Bedfordshire County in gymnastics at your daughter's age and would gleefully have broken quite a few of other people's arms for an opportunity like that...

... though in those days* we would have been training with Nadia, rather than just at her school!

* Yeah - I'm old, but can still do the splits.
