New season is nearly upon us...

You've got Casey again on the Ducati, proven race winning package. Dovi on the full factory Honda, hopefully Honda will listen to what he wants, but I have my doubts. Capriossi on the Suzuki has been quick in testing. Vermulen on the right day i.e. if its wet will also do well I tihnk. Whats Gibbernau going to do on that Ducati, has he got his head sorted out. If he has theres another one who isnt afraid to bash fairings with Rossi. Lorezo if he can stop the superman impressions I also think is going to be a force this year. He proved that when he was fit last year and of course only a complete moron rights off Rossi...

I think its going to be interesting. Theres a chance here for the squabbling between all of that lot to rob each other of points...

This year, will be just as good, if not better than last year hopefully.

As you've said, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Stoner, Rossi will be the main 4. Will be interesting to see how Hayden gets on, but i've never really rated him in my top riders.

I just hope JT stuff's Edwards :lol:

You laugh, but Edwards isn't one of the "top" riders imo. Neither is JT, but JT is younger, fitter and stronger. Its going to be a couple of years before he gets to Edwards level, but Edwards didn't exactly "stuff" Toseland in tossys 1st season.

Not JT has his engineer, theres a bit of a fued going on in the team.

It won't take long.

toseland has about 12 months to prove otherwise or his ride might be given to someone else.

It can't really be much worse can it?! :p Apart from Laguna and a couple of others it was a pretty boring season. With Rossi winning the WC with three races to go - I hope that doesn't happen again!

I can't wait for the new season - lots of shake-ups to make things more interesting. [-o<

So does Edwards though, TBH I'm surprised he kept his ride for this year.

I think this crew chief issue will have JT and Edwards fired up..

I do hope so, where was edwards in the final standings of 08? 6th wasnt he? or 7th? its not a bad finish really.
