Flat radiator hoses when running?
 
I was wondering if this is ok ? I noticed a while back over winter and then again yesterday. dont think it happens all the time. Re inflated when I stopped the engine? Any help appreiciated :)

You checked the water level? Might be air in the system try running it with the radiator lid of and giving all the pipes a good old squeeze

If you put the filler cap on when its hot, the system cools down & 'sucks' the hoses in? Try easing the cap off when cold & listen for the system sucking air in.

cheers all, checked the water this morning..none left in the reservoir tank?:confused:

Added some and opened the air release bolt and went on my way.. hoses still inflated when i got back..begs the question where the heck did the coolant go?:confused: and how come a) engine does over heat b) what can I do to fix it?

I had the flat hose problem. It turned out to be a blocked overflow pipe. The thin one just under the rad cap. Disconnect it from both ends and blow the crud out.
