First ride

Just waved my smiling daughter off to her own house. Big smile because she's finally ridden her SV! She passed her test last August and bought the SV in October and between dodgy weather and her work she's not had a chance to ride her bike until today. She asked me to ride it to a long, straight, wide road and then she took over. She was a little bit wobbly at first and more than a little wary of the extra BHP, but she did really well. I freely admit to being more nervous than she was, after all I've grown to love the small Suzuki, no seriously it's scary to watch your kid ride away on her first big bike. There aren't many better sights than seeing her ride safely back a short while after. So here's to a long hot summer where we can polish her riding skills, and more than that, here's to a long, safe partnership between her and the SV. I just had to share the moment with the org.

I remember the first time I took my SV out after passing my test. Exciting and a little scary. Great stuff.
