What is this FOT I hear about?

Since this question seems to be coming up a lot at the moment:

1. What is a FOT?

A413 from Aylesbury to Buckingham
A421/A4221 to Bicester
A41/B4011 to Thame

Then either A418/A329/A4074 to Fox's Diner, or B4012 to the England's Rose at Postcombe.
