Re-painting rear shock spring.

Is there any kind of paint I can use to just re-paint my hagon red at home? Just for my own piece of cosmetic mind. Got some red enamel stuff I may use, but think it will just crack away under compression making a mess.

Don't really wanna pay anyone to do it, not that important to the operation of the spring.

Use Hammerite Smooth or Plastikote for a good hard wearing finish.
