Baglux Tank Cover

I have got a Baglux Tank Cover with a view to dyeing it black.
I thought that they were leather.
Before I shop around for something to dye it with I thought I would offer it up for sale here and put the funds to a black one.
It is a reddish brown colour.
So £35 anybody.

I dont think you will be able to dye it you should be able to paint it.

Try Dylon and if that doesnt work you will be able to paint over to cover it up - in fact maybe the combo will work better than either alone.

Try multiple coats of slightly thinned acrylic paint (water based so thins with water)

Its whats been used to paint leather jackets for years - did one myself and it was fine in all weathers and fairly hard wearing.

Alternatively - get some black ink from Rymans - thats pretty good at staining anything it comes in contact with - just brush it on.

I have now managed to get a black one. Thanks Lozzo.
So, instead of £35 how about £30 plus postage (same as I am paying for the black one).

Anybody ????

If you want black, it can be painted with something like plasicote.
