I hate banks!
 

I went in to natwest to ask about mortgages - nothing specific, just the amount they would be willing lend & the amount of deposit I would need so I can get an idea of the type of search I can perform.

I came out with an upgraded account (because I'll get a better mortgage with it) and a credit card.

No mortgage. Argh!

I'm off to the Halifax on Monday for a similar chat. The joke'll be on them though as I've already got a Halifax credit card from the last time I went in asking about savings info!! ;o)

i resent banks for the crunch, forcing people out of work, unable to pay mortgage, banks repossess house.
