Carrot cake....

I haven't dabbled for a while but today I relapsed...

Purchased at the "Nosh" sandwich shop on the Albert Docks in Liverpool about an hour ago. The lady even remembered me from last time I was here 18 months ago (when I made light of carrot cake from starbucks and she told me to get out of her cafe)..

Thats a good looking carrot cake...

Me and matt had some last saturday at a little cafe where I live. OMG it was tasty :D ended up having some victoria sponge too.

It great when you find a cafe that does the most amazing cakes. Not good for your waistline though..

I just emailed this to the Mrs at work and got an email reply:-

"what you need to post though is that those are sold in bulk up and down the county courtesy of cost co, identifiable by the very unhome made looking carrot on each slice, anybody buying that is buying mass produced cr@p....I will make a proper carrot cake for you to photograph and put on the thread...."

Might go for a slice is weather is nice tomorrow. Slaidburn is the place for a nice nibble with yer coffee

This wasn't bad either, not as good on presentation but the taste made up for it, nomnomnom (at Paiteley Bridge). Note YC's oily mitts :-D
