It's called a Fenda-Extenda, available at all bikeshops or many online outlets. You can also buy them direct from Pyramid Plastics.

When are Pyramid Plastics going to have extenda fenders in stock for my pointy K9

Q: Will any extenda fender for a pointy fit a K9?

I'm sure any one for a pointy will fit. Pyramid have probably not updated their catalog to show the 09 model.

Ramjam, I ordered one for my K9 from Pyramid Plastics last Friday and arrived on Monday - cost £18.99 + £3 pp :)

I only ordered through Pyramid 'cos lots of .org members members have recommended them. Thought £22 all-in was well worth it for that bit of added protection for the radiator etc. Mind you, it's only a bit of plastic......

That was my thinking, kicked myself for turning down one for £9 a while back because I saw one for £7 brand new elesewhere (I know it's only pence but just on principle it's odd paying more for something used then you can get it brand new) ....only to find out the one I saw was infact for a bandit :(

Re: Front Mudguard Extender?

It seems that Fender Extenders are in the top 5 "must have's" for SV riders. I'm surprised that Suzuki haven't decided to make front mudguards that little bit longer at the back and just add £20 to the sale price of new SV's (or in fact all new Suzuki's models). Mind you, they probably wouldn't get much aftersales for new parts buggered up by crap off the road which would otherwise have been "dealt" with by a fender extender !

Its a fashion thing.Sports bikes all have short mudguards to make them look like GP racers and woe betide any manufacturer that puts anything remotely practical on instead.
