Mearches Meander 2 (MM2) - dates
 

I'm putting up a poll, it'll stop up for just a few days - say till lunchtime Friday - so that we can fix something quickly. I can do any of these dates but there are so many competing pressures - as ever.

If you have a pressing reason for one over the other please say and we'll see where we get to.

Right reserved not to take the most popular date! I can't see anything competing with these dates on the site calendar.

Incidentally if you're wondering what is MM2 - it's a day's rideout through south Shropshire and bits of Powys. Last year we went clockwise round the route, this year will be anti-clockwise so the first leg will be from Shrewsbury Services, short bit of the A5 west, then down the A488 through Knighton to the Cross Gates cafe. Then on the A44 to the OK Diner, then we'll hop up to Ludlow (maybe I'll alter the route so we take the back road, this bit of the A49 is boring) and then up to Bridgnorth and the bike cafe at Quatt. Then back down through Corvedale - which is a fantastic road, and really pretty - to Craven Arms and back up the better bit of the A49 to Shrewsbury.

9th we have free.

23rd we're in Skye and the following Saturday is just a few days after we get back from the Skye trip so depends on tyre life:D

9/10th of May is the Thundersprints in Northwich, but main racinf is on the 10th....

There is another ride in Scotland on 23rd/24th - you like giving an alternative to going north don't you! :D

I'm not psychic!! None of these is on the calendar - as they should be - but then again neither is Christmas:rendeer:

Hovis, no - no 17 May - as being selfish that is the one date I definitely can't do - it's my daughter's birthday.

What sort of time does it start and finish?

I wouldn't mind a trip up, but it's a bit of a step for a single day...
