i didnt think police where allowed to chase high speeding bikes as its to dangerous?, or is that just urban myth :smt102

After watching copious amounts of the channel 5 cop show on a Friday evening i think they can chase as long as they get permission it's safe to do so. I guess if they didn't have a chopper they had no choice :p

Police can continue a pursuit as long as the duty officer (normally an inspector or above) deems that it is safe to continue. If the guy had been putting the public at danger then the pursuit would have been called off.

This guy desereved the jail - what an idiot!
