WATCH OUT - surface of road in tunnel

going back through Birmingham City Centre tonight - straight through the tunnels to the Aston express way (A38 ) towards spaghetti junction. They have done something to the road surface - nice ridges etc as if they are going to resurface very shortly. Theres no signs etc to say something is going on, roadworks etc. I was going only 30 (honest officer) when I came across this nasty surface which seemed to make my bike slide all over the place. So just watch out if going through brum - lucky for me no traffic as I had to slow right down to keep control of the bike. Will be phoning highways department in the morning to complain.
