New to biking so for my first bike i got .....

A '04 SV1000 in silver.

And yer - it is a looooooot faster than my 125 lol

Had a test ride on the 650 and loved it. Was going to get one - but then a friend of a friend decided to sell his thou.

After taking a look felt that it wasn't any heavier or trickier to handle than the 650 - so took the plunge and got it.

Gotta say - what a bike!!! although i dont have anything to compare against its a great bike. Find it easy to manoveur at slow speeds, nice and sound around corners (not doing anything too risky though) and love the acceleration!!!

Gonna get some pics and put them up as well. She's fully faired with nice carbon can co exhausts - sounds like thunder when i give her a good go.

Anyway just wanted to say hi to all and looking forward to finding out more on here.

Gonna need a new rear some time in the next few months. Gonna try to decide what to get now.
