Call around every gym withing reasonable travel distance and ask them if they are selling any of their equipment. You may get lucky that way. To get a decent quality motorised one I reckon you'll be looking at more than £200. Good luck though! |

was prolly looking around the 200 mark, am i dillusional? More blind drunk than dillusional mate-the cheap ones are rotten and don't hold up for long-the better are over a grand with more options re programmes and incline etc-save your money and get out running its cheaper and will do you more good than using the treadmill husky |
Re: Anybody bought a motorized treadmill...?
yeah, what i thought to be honest. looked quickly on fleabay, the cheap one's look like a harsh fart and they'd fall apart...
good suggestion that grunty, nice one |

Re: Anybody bought a motorized treadmill...?
I'm sure Hovis will be around with treadmill advice soon.
But for that price - how about a push bike? It'll do the cario-thing and not damage your knees! Or running - with a decent pair of trainers? |
Re: Anybody bought a motorized treadmill...?
Why dont you just stay at home and drink beer. £1000 is a lot of beer.

Re: Anybody bought a motorized treadmill...?
Or how about a cross trainer? Less harmful to your knees and cheaper too.

Re: Anybody bought a motorized treadmill...?
i have a bike, and damned rad i am on it too.
i think the problem with road running, not just the wear and tear on the knees, is i get bored extremely quickly. plug in an ipod and pound away in the garage for an hour 2 or 3 times a week i think i could handle...maybe. im so ill disciplined. KR cheers for the heads on decent trainers, the town near me has a proper bone fide running shop, they wont just let you wander in and buy a pair, you have to have proper fitting and iirc they put you on a treadmill to see how you run and therefore best suited |
