Insurance Claim
 

Hi all,

My dad has me as a named rider on his insurance for his SV . He got a letter in the post today from his insurance company saying that his insured vehicle had allegedly rear ended a stationary car, however, the letter does not give my vehicle details, the 3rd parties vehicle details, time or location of the alleged accident only the guys name that is trying to claim and the date.

Where it should state location of accident it says 'location not known, under investigation'

I have never hit a vehicle ever (touch wood) and if i had i would have told my dad straight away. He tried phoning his insurance company today and the guy on the other end said 'oh yeah, sometimes this happens' but could not tell him anything specific.

I dont live with my parents anymore so i got my dad to write down the exact journey details of that day (i know exactly what they were as im at college on a monday and take same route every time)

Any thoughts guys n girls??

Its a scam, just bin it
