I know Burnley's a bit ropey, but you don't need to go all the way to Oz!

Re: move to aus ?
Are you planning to move permanently?
If so your first point of contact should be Australia House, the Aus consulate. They will be able to provide all the info you need. Australia House Home Page |
Re: move to aus ?
Not done it yet but will do hopefully at the end of the year, or at least apply for a transfer from work so early 2010.
I have looked into it and have a number of friends over there now who love it. The only thing they struggle with is the wages as they are low but that is doing a specific job. Not sure what the wages are like in general. I think if you are in a position to do it then go for it, I am single have a house I can rent and a job I can return to in UK if it goes belly up so I have nothing to loose. Have you got your way in sorted or you going hoping to land emplyment out there? |
Re: move to aus ?
my family tried doing it twice, through someone who has a 100% pass through rate, but we didnt get in, i have two older sisters out there and were trying to move over to be with them. brother was forces (both of them) dad has a few trades but they are very strict.
good luck hope you get what you want |
