I too, am looking forward to this!
|
Re: The Boat That Rocked
its by Richard Curtis
ipso facto i am unable to get excited by it. im not doubting his (obvious) abilities as a writer, i just dont dig his stuff |
Re: The Boat That Rocked
I'm quite keen to go see it, Bill Nighy in it too
|
Re: The Boat That Rocked
Not that bothered by it to be honest.
Looking forward to seeing The Damned United on Wednesday though! |
Re: The Boat That Rocked
I was interested (mildly) in the Damned United, but I just can't get over the fact that I'm simply not convinced by Michael Sheene's Cloughie accent!
I'd like to see a Cloughie film about his successes too, I mean, he's not our best ever manager, but he's in the top 1 :) |
Re: The Boat That Rocked
From what I've seen Sheen is excellent as Old Big 'Ead.
I'll reserve judgement till I see ti. But yea, a film about his time at Forest and Derby would be equally good I think.... Might be a bit long though |
Re: The Boat That Rocked
To be fair, I've only heard radio adverts for it, and I think 1 ad on the TV, so perhaps I could get over the accent if he's done the mannerisms and stance etc
|
Re: The Boat That Rocked
He's definitely got the mannerisms down.
Somebody editted a scene from the film next to the interview he did with Don Revie and it's uncanny |
Re: The Boat That Rocked
Just been to see the boat that rocked and it is CLASSIC! So funny!
