Bloody Insurance
Tried to tax my bike online today, but i got the response that my machine had no insurance. "This could be due to the insurance companies being in a "cross over" period." i didn't believe this as I hadn't changed companies.
I rang A Quote Insurance who said that I had renewed my insurance on 27th March by just carrying it on, but it wasn't on the National Database. They were going to look into it & send me a cover note out. If I had been stopped by the Police I believe that it would have shown up on thier little computer thingy that I wasn't insured, which would have been a real pain in the butt trying to convince them. I am not a happy bunny, I've got to go into town now & tax the bike whenever my cover note appears. Tax runs out tomorrow, so looks like I'll be back in the car for a couple of days. :( |
Re: Bloody Insurance
I got stopped routine by the police and they said I wasnt insured I asured them I was and offered for them to come home so I could shoo I mean show them my insurance. They said naaa its ok we believe you.
Lets hope the tax man doesnt try doing you for the short gap :( |
Re: Bloody Insurance
My 675 isnt appearing on the database either, have phoned them up and they saidit should be on there within the next 2 weeks.
Not too bothered tbh as i have the docs here showing shes insured and shes all taxed etc. |
Re: Bloody Insurance
Police would just issue you with a producer to produce ur docs at a police station. Pain in the bum i no, but just a bit o reassurance for u
