Bluetooth?

I want to transfer some pictures from my phone to my laptop. Since I dont have a cable, I figured a blootooth connection would work...

...but I cant do it!

The bluetooth flash drive and my phone recognise each other. Im asked to put in a pass-key so I duly do so and all seems fine until it says "blah blah disconnected" then it asks me to enter in dial-up lan details / put in some network settings  This is where im lost.

I dont have dial-up. I thought I could just send my photos via the bluetooth then it would appear on the computer?

Its obv not as simple as I thought :( How does everyone else manage to transfer pics/files?

Ta

It sounds like you've paired the devices... what happens when you select an image on your phone and tell it to send it via Bluetooth?

Want to meet up tomorrow night and try that bluetooth headset I have - I can also look at the laptop connection at the same time if you want.

Let me know where I can meet you and Matt :)

I can't do it. My phone cant find the bluetooth stick if I make it search for it. I have no idea why but I bet the solution is really obvious
