Something really annoying me about I-Tunes
 

Im sure (hope) there is a simple fix to this.

Right, shuffle on, playing music randomly.

Decide i want to listen to listen to a track off a certain album, so select that.

Click back to 'All albums' And it will carry on playing random songs FROM THAT ALBUM.

What i want it to do is carry on playing random songs from anywhere. The only thing i have figured out is to close it and start again, which is rediculous.

Any ideas?

I think u need to click the loop/continuous play button. I think the 2 crossed arrows will still be highlighted meaning random. it's the same on my iphone need to de-select it, it's a bit of a pain but once u remember it'll be fine

Just search for the artist in the top right hand side, find the song you want, play it then clear the search bar and it'll show all of the songs again.

I've never had a problem with doing that. You said you clicked back to "All Albums", but did you also click on "All Artists" as otherwise it would randomly play all songs by that artist. If you only had one album by that artist, then yes, it would carry on playing songs from that album.

If you've just added it select another track not from that album / artist and it'll go back to usual shuffle I think?
