Alternative headlights for a naked?
I'm still debating whether to get a naked or a faired, and was wondering what alternative headlights are available for the SV, and if they are actually practical and work well in the dark. I quite like the idea of twin headlights, and after a search found a thread on the dominators. What others are there?
Thanks. |
Re: Alternative headlights for a naked?
If its a pointy, go fully faired.
If its a curvy go naked. Simples....;) |
Re: Alternative headlights for a naked?
Im starting to have second thoughts about the headlight on the nakeds, and the pointy frame on naked, but i dont like the silver curvy frame. Theres no pleasing me...
I like the headlights and the black curvy frame on the 'bike that has been posted too many fricken times'. But the frame doesnt come in black, and i imagine it would be a lot of hassle to spray it. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...9/100_0263.jpg |

Re: Alternative headlights for a naked?
Thanks. Its certainly unique, and suits the pointy. I take it the indies are built in?
I like it. |
Re: Alternative headlights for a naked?
yep built in indies.
It came with the bike, but i found one on ebay a while ago, just have a quick search for you. |
Re: Alternative headlights for a naked?
Anything but the dominators, mine were rubbish and got thrown across the garage floor shortly after riding my bike back at night from Lincolnshire 30mph all the way. It was like riding blindfolded. Still looking for a stacked twin projector set up for mine but cant find one anywhere.

looks far better in the second pics, looks like you've turned the brackets round and moved the light unit upwards Amp seal of approval on that one :p |
