drag bars

Stuck some black drag bars on the curvy today. And some new mirrors to boot :D

Still need to chop the ends off and fit some bar ends, but overall im happy. Will take a few spins for the back/shoulders to get used to the change though, but its a nice body midway position..

A very stylish way to make your bike really uncomfortable.

they're not straight bars by the way. they have some sweep, they just look straight in the pic..

Just back in after 3 hours on the bike. Maybe its just my body size (5.9ft/11stone) but i find the new bars quite comfortable. Neither my hands, back or legs were sore in any way and i found the bit more weight to the front of the bike quite settling. It does mean you ride the tank a little but i used to sit quite forward anyway, so no difference for me. There seems to be less vibration from both bike and road coming through the bars as well, and this is without packing the bar or adding end weights yet.
Only real compromise is a bit more elbow in my mirror view but that can be tolerated and adjusted to.
