Fairweather biker finally gets out there....

So I finally figured I would go on a decent ride...

I also thought I would finally add a picture of myself to the org, just as it seems people are starting to remove theirs.

Late as always....

So here goes my bike, as it should be is an SV, and absolutely love it, I know nothing about bikes but on a steep learning curve as my mechanic father believes that he was not put on this earth to look after my cars and bikes etc... (surely Im worth the 3 minutes of fun he had 30 years ago!!)

So not a very eventfull ride, did not pull a mechanic, but did pull a muscle helping another guy with his bike...

Rode from hornchurch through stapleford abbots and epping to High Beach, truly great place... most people round my way talk about high beach (I actually thought it was by the seaside) and I never really took too much notice but loved it. V Cool place.. friendly people good coffee and decent food... also more to the point some great bikes..

then a trip home... took a few welcome detours, which is only helping the running in of the bike.

only another 500 miles to go till she is completely run in and can be used as the Suzuki gods intended.

I may not be a fairweather biker for long....!!!

although I probably will.

Thanks org.

there's nothing better than flying through windy, rainy conditions when you're all tucked up in decent waterproofs! That feeling you get when you get home, dry and have a brew is priceless I recon....try it!

Nice bike.
Nothng wrong with being a fairweather biker (although I prefer to say I have "drizzle intolerance"). Biking is supposed to be fun, not a slithery, scary endurance test.

It's fun in the rain too. You just need to have some good waterproofs and the right mindset. If you wait for a warm sunny day to go for a ride then you mght well be waiting a long long time. It's only rain, you won't melt:rolleyes:
