Made To Measure Leathers
 

Lots of people have asked to see my leathers as i had made to measure. Well, they were finally ready on monday so i drove up to sheffield on friday and picked them up. I havent used them yet so cant tell you what they're like to ride in, but i'm currently sitting in the trousers looking like the back end of a pantomime horse trying to wear them in lol - not sure i can even get my leg over the bike atm!

I designed the suit myself - i copied the idea from an alpinestars one piece i liked, and it has:

full forcefield armour
2 colours - black and white leather
kevlar where i wanted
stretch panels over the knees and round the back
knee slider panels (anyone wanna donate me some sliders?)
calf zips corresponding to how my boots zip up (so no zip on zip action ;))
360 degree zip (suprisingly easy to do up, no fiddling around) if i wanna do racing etc
il add more as i remember

i was quoted 5-7 weeks, but it actually took 10, which personally i thought was taking the p!ss but i dont know how long these things take to make

required 2 fittings - one when the order was taken and a second 2 weeks before it was finished

cost: £620

Zip them up all the time not just for racing though ;) Unless you want scar tissue for a lower back lol.

They look pretty good Gracie, but how long will they stay that colour I wonder! They'll show up those squashed bugs a treat :p

ha i know! my boots are gradually turning yellow so i say give it a week lol.

my helmet is black and my gloves are white and black too so im completely matching - im so totally the lost white power ranger :smt053, the only thing i dont match though, is my bike!

Designed yourself, very nice indeed, but i did notice one thing have your arms shrunk cus the sleeves look abit long? ;-)
