Re: Welcome to wales :(
You can guarantee that when the sun comes out & the bikers go out to play, North Wales Police will be there to spoil the fun. One reason I wont venture down that way, last time I did it cost me £60.
Good way of killing North Wales' tourist industry, the whole biking community should boycott the place, just to see how much money would be lost :) |

Personally, for the next few weeks, my bike will be used to commute back & forth to/from work. I'm pretty unlikely to see any cops, and when i do go out for a play, they're not likely to be looking so actively. They can't keep it up for too long, otherwise folks will accuse them of not policing properly/efficiently & it'll get ugly in the media. |
Re: Welcome to wales :(
So why are they stopping bikes and not bikes and cars?

Re: Welcome to wales :(
i see at least 4 trafpol T5s and a pan, surely north wales isn't THAT quiet on a bank holiday
those officers don't look like they skip meals either, lots of takeaways all at the expense of NW taxpayers no doubt:rolleyes: |

Well we were warned...... http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=129354
Obviously the new layby on by the the Rhug farm shop (place we blocked up on the Barmouth run) is ideal for pulling bikes. This is the entire reason I stay away from the 'honeypot' routes. Targeting bikes in this way, just pulling them randomly for no reason smacks of discrimination. |
