(Geeky) Amazing what some people put in their code
 

Installing a new proxy server at work has thrown up some interesting (to those of a geekish bent) bits and pieces. The latest being the following line, in part of the otherwise reputable (I think) site http://www.airport-parking.co.uk/

"... setTimeout("Calendar.continuation_for_the_****ing_ khtml_browser()", 10);..."

No wonder the user was surprised to get a block message for explicit content.

You should see our log output, let alone the code!!

We have to edit logs heavily before sending to a customer, for example roulette terminals...

"Winnings will be £0.00. Unlucky!" - whereas anything where the winnings are greater than £1000, the log output involves swearing so I won't post it here!

Mind, the 12 developers in our office have just been told there's only 2 jobs for them all!!
