Help! Scottoiler..........misshap

So ive had a bit of a.....erm.....dumb moment. while i've been working on the bike I seem to have 'misplaced' the rubber cap/breather hose on my scottoiler. Oooops :?

Ive been searching the garage with a fine tooth comb for hours and no sight of sound of it, the bike gremlins must have stolen it from me while i wasnt looking.

Does anyone have an old scottoiler or some spare parts from one that i could possably buy?? Anyone that could help me out of this pickle? i dont fancy forking out the cash for a new one and with out this part then im going to get scottoil over the place under the seat :(

Talk to scottoiler them selves, they have VERY good customer support. They might even do it free!

Hmm, I have just fitted a second hand scotty and it didnt have the breather pipe. Am I to assume that it won't work without it?

it will work. What is the risk of the oil falling out the hole? is the scotty upright or not? how full do you fill it?

Yeah stu is right, it will work just fine but you risk oil spilling everywhere
