So 1 person done his job, and locked a post, in a heated debate...


He took a decision.


Can I suspend you for that decision yet after an investigation.


Sorry Lucky, but that was a debatable post about something mainstream in the press. Locking it was uncalled for imo.

I was quite happy for the subject to be discussed, but when people start hurling personal insults at each other, then its time for lockage, it quite clearly states in the T & C's personal abuse will not be tolerated....

I've been on plenty of forums, that thread got a lot further than it would have done on the other ones I regularly frequent.

Wouldn't it be more prudent to march into the crowd and pull out the ringleader, then suspend him from posting?

The rest of us were trying to have an, albeit heated, debate on the rights and wrongs of the case in han - one person threw an unwarranted insult and the rest of us were denied our debate
