Guys, got a Rectifier from a Honda Bros( I believe) which I need to go into a 99 SV650

Plugs on the Honda are, hree yellow wires on one plug and two Greens and Two Red/white on second plug.

Husky, cheers. It does help.

That should mean(I think) the Red/white wires on the Honda would go to the red on the SV and the green on the Honda to the Black/white on SV.

Anyone help with confirming the above please.

3 yellow wires to the alternator
Red/white feeds the battery, looks like they have doubled up at the connector, probably to reduce amps per termnial I guess. I usually wire this to the starter relay terminal on the battery side, it's easy to get to.
Frame earth, must be as no wire for it
Green wire (much thinner than the red one(s) usually) is a "voltage reference", you wire it in to a switched + source e.g. flasher relay or just the + wire off the ignition switch. This tells the RR what voltage it wants to be just above.
Honda on a Suzuki, it's like the 1980s again!

The 3 phase wires, doesn't matter which way around these connect.

Red-white goes to battery live.
Green goes to earth.

Er, are you sure? Check the diagram. I thought it was wired to the main lighting supply.

No it joins into the red wire which then goes to the battery live via the starter relay. SV takes its lighting power from same red wire via ignition switch. No seperately charged lighting circuit.
