I'm so proud......warning, it's girly!

Ok, I decided today to have another go at putting my hair in up do's. I've always loved my long hair, but have never been able to do anything with it other than the normal ponytail, bun and chopsticks trick.

Got on you tube, looked up french twist as always wanted to be able to do a proper one where you can't see any pins and did it!!!

Then I tried this one. What do you think for a first time???

Practise makes perfect, so I know there's a lot of room for improvement....but I'm well proud of myself!

Hmmm not too bad for a first attempt but you can see the kirby grips you are using.

My daughter is 6 and has only ever had her hair at the back trimmed once. I have a nightmare trying to get hers tied up. I am getting better at plaiting it ( OMG how ghey do i sound)

Yeah, but no those that were only allowed to have a pony if they got up at 5.30 to go feed and sort it out and again after school, then do homework, then do housework......lol.

I have tried before, but my hair was always so silky and smooth, not even hairdressers could do this kind of thing with it. Getting older does seem to have its advantages after all eh!

Yeah....very ghey...lol. I know they are showing but will be easy enough to hide them. I only had a mirror at the front, so was just feeling my way and sticking them in to see if it would work. Next time I'll place mirrors so I can see what I'm doing back there!
