Whats the best piece (s) of equipment you've bought...

...for your bike?

While out earlier washing the bike I was thinking how much better it was doing it as I reckon the paddock stands I got earlier this month are a good contender. It's all so much easier cleaning and working on the bike with them. Ah, isn't life bliss.............:D

um, for my BMW it was the centre stand - as it meant that loading the bike up/changing the tyres/parking the bike overnight on sand etc was so much easier!

Now the best tool has got to be the torque wrench - I feel all manly when I use it ;o)

I'm sure it'll be a paddock stand, when I get one (couple of months). No more rolling the bike down the path to lube the chain.

That and a huge, flat blade screwdriver. Been no end of help where I've had to file slots in seized, rounded bolts.

paddock stand make chain maintenance a bit easier...although still a bit of fun with a drive on a hill so it does roll away.
To be honest it's probably my clothing though, my boots are good, my lids nice and light and saved my life once already, gloves were a good purchase, as were upgrading to some textile trousers that somewhere near fitted, back protector was a good investment too although it's not a level 2 - but it does have rib cage and organ armour though. Still undecided on whether the heated gloves were a good purchase though.
allen socket set is good too

WD40... it's great. Also a black and decker set of screwdrivers, allen keys, sockets and a wrench, pliers etc, couldn't live without it now.
