Dunlop D208 tyres - Any Good?
I have found some of these at a good price for a pair, just wondered if anybody had them and any comments. Cheers.
For my SV650 K3. |
Re: Dunlop D208 tyres - Any Good?
Long lasting, seem decent in both wet and dry to me (on my k3) not as grippy as some of the more expensive tyres, e.g supercorsa e.t.c but a good tyre for the money in my opinion. And being in england it tends to rain alot so its worth having some tyres that will grip in wet too ! (unlike my D209 GP racers on my cagiva!) haha.

Heard good reviews on both, incase you are interested in trying different tyres.. go to http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/ they have some amazing deals on Avon tyres, which I've heard are very good tyres even though they are less popular. Can pick up a PAIR for £120 ish Big savings to be had there.

Sorry mate, Michelin Pilot Road 2 ct. Twin compound tyre's, lots of grip, cold/warm, wet/dry and good wear, 8K on my rear at the moment, will be changing it soon though. So good :D |

had a Metlezer front, and a dunlop sportmax rear, felt ok, rear only lasted 2K miles :( These PR2's are better, feels like I can lean further, more stable and more fun ;) I didnt belive that different tyres give any difference before I got these! I paid £200 pair though, fitted and balanced, how much did you pay Nick? |
