New dog bones.
 
HEY,

HOPE EVERYONE IS WELL! GLORIOUS DAY UP HERE TODAY IN NEWCASTLE LOVELY WEATHER TO DO A FEW JOBS TO THE BIKE!

AND SINCE I'AM A TALL LAD IVE DECIDED TO LIFT THE REAR OF THE BIKE. :o DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN GET SHORTER DOG BONES??

HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS? IF SO WHAT LENGHT DOG BONES DID YOU GET?

bandit mania do a set that lift the bike by 20mm, i think chewy's stuff do them too.

brilliant do they do a set for the curvy SV? Should of mentioned mine is a curvy one. 51 plate.

I notice the sticky 'CAPS LOCK' key seems to have sorted itself out :-)

I got mine for my Curvy off ebay.
meant to lift the rear 40mm, with 20mm rise in seat height. ( i think the holes are 2mm closer than standard)
Cost £15 plus postage.

(not fitted yet, looks easy in the haynes manual, but i aint great with a spanner and not sure how to suspend the bike/swing arm without a bike lift)

If you can get hold of one, a builders trestle is a perfect stand for this kind of work.

I have a builders trestles etc and im in the toon giz a shout if you need a hand, Im currently trying to make my pointy lower lol
