An easy one for a Thursday morning.
 

On route home last night my right hand switch gear decided to move (rotate). Tried to tighten the screws up last night but I cant get them any tighter, its better than it was but it still rotates round the bar.

Any suggestions?

My thoughts currently lie between;
Should I be replacing it
or
Just taking it off an wrapping some inner tube around the bar for it to grip onto before putting it back on.

And has anyone had this or similar?

Inner tube is a bit thick to get the switchgear around. Try build the diameter up a bit with insulation tape. (unless you have some self-amalgamating tape)

it's not a bodge it works fine. I was going to use inner tube but chris is right so I used the insulation tape and the throttle one hasn't shifted at all.

You get gremlins in your electrics dont ya dave, does it effect your indy's?
It only seems to be on the right hand side but for one reason or another they cant decide if they work or not. At the moment its the back right one thats given up (brilliantly safe for motorway riding)

Yeah my indicators aren't bad though. Check your connections doubt it's the switch. I've put led indicators on mine, loads brighter.

Its bulbs fitments currently, I could replace the front ones with LEDs but the back is all moulded into the undertray. Looks mint but not sure how visible it all is.

ahh, no you can't have half and half led I don't think. You might need to take your back plastics off and check the wires.

if i fix the back ones, they'll work for a bit then the front will stop workin.. MOT soon so Im waiting until just before it to get it sorted that way they should be working for the test its self.
