static caravan (holiday retreat)
anyone own one? i'm thinking of buying one in the countryside as a quiet retreat, good? bad points? this particular site is on the canal side in brewood in Staffordshire only 11 miles from my house but so quiet and peaceful ive fell in love with the place. we me/my dad have owned one in mid wales before and yes it was loverly but the drive every weekend puts you off so i was thinking a close one may be more practical. thoughts?

Why would I want a caravan with no fecking wheels?
Do you like dags? |
Re: static caravan (holiday retreat)
Save your money and buy a motorcaravan with it instead. Then you can go where you like and you're not tied down to just one site.

Re: static caravan (holiday retreat)
save the money and spend it on nice hotels a couple of times a year instead of a depreciating asset that the wannabe pikey police will kick the door in, in a place you will get fed up of

There is a campsite in pitlochry, which like you say is pretty much in the most peaceful perfect location, if i didnt live so far away I would try and buy one. |
