service time?

How long do you think I'll need to put aside to change the oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs?

How hard are the plugs to get to?

Thanks

Oil change and oil filter is a 30 min job. 20 of those minutes are letting the oil completly drain from the bike, 5 minutes is warming the bike up so the oil drains easily, the other 5 minutes are draiing and re-filling the oil

never done spark-plugs myself...

Plugs dont take long neither does the filter. Warm the bike up and drop the oil and then change the plugs and filter whilst the oil is draining out.

I reckon that'd take me an hour, but I'm not particularly handy with spanners and I dont like to rush things.

And that is the right answer :D best to take your time and not strip a thread in the engine head, rather than rush....and pi** iff your local mechanic :D

change the plugs first, before warming the bike otherwise you might burn yourself...
you need to lift the tank and swing the rad out of the way to get to the plugs.
30 min for all that.
then warm up the bike and drain the oil.
hth's
