Word for a screw hole...
...but not what you're thinking you dirty gits! :batman:
I'm doing a bit of coursework about screw spliced concrete piles, and can't bloody think of the word for the hole where the "male" screw bit screws into...so to speak (hard to explain as I don't know the bloody word!!!!:)) Basically the piles come in prefabricated sections, with a male and female end, which are then screwed together. I can't really use the male and female terms - lecturer seems to dislike it! (Ghey?) |
Re: Word for a screw hole...

Re: Word for a screw hole...
The prefab piles are known as male and female connectors why does your lecturer have a problem with that?
