I was coming back from home after a some swearing at the bike when it decided not to start when I tried to leave, seem there was not enough juice in the battery after a few attempted starts. So after a phone call to Jambo with the threat of him coming over and looking at it in a displeasing way seems to kick it into life.
So rode back to Mitcham as I normally do... that was until I came to Brixtion Hill junction on the A23.
I saw a boy looking to cross at the crossing even though my lights where green, so I covered the front brake. The car in front of me decided to stop anyway and let him cross... I pulled the brake, front swept out from under me. Bike landed on the left side and trapped my leg under it, so luckily some people helped me get it off and I pushed it over to the side of the road. Fixed the broken gear select with my Fixer-peg, picked up the ripped off bung and rode back to Mitcham.

So I have now some more damage to my left front panel, ripped off bung, broken gear select, bent bar end weight and what looks like 2 blown fork seals.
My boot has a another big scuff, as do my Lidl gloves, which worked very well for 12 quid. Left elbow of my Lidl jacket and my left knee of my Hien Gerike trousers, along with a stuffed zip for the 'vents', so I'll get a cold left leg.
I might have a few bruises but my left knee hurts the most as it hit the ground and then got crushed by the bike...

Oh well.... things to do... fix the forks... but that can wait till tomorrow as I'm going to catch the tube in I think.

Hospital now boy! Tank crushed my knee on my off. I still haven't been able to get back on due to various ligament damage and fluid build up I can't get leathers on.
