High level link pipes for sv1000 - where to find them?

Searched through some old threads and heard a few people point to beowulf, gave them a call and they said "no we don't do them", so I told the nice lady that others had mentioned buying them from beowulf, do they do a made to measure service, then she said "ooh we could do them, but we're quite busy lately so I'm not sure if it's something we could do"

so, where to find high level link pipes for sv1000sz k5 plz :)

are there link pipes designed for other bike which will fit i.e. tl1000? are there any other manufacturers I should look out for who make them?

Thanks in advance :)

a bit more searching has revealed "zorstec exhaust solutions" in shipley (other side of bradford to where I am now)...

Only catch is around £80 per side! Is this a normal price for high level link pipes? A pair of beowulf warrior cans is going to be £350 anyway, another £160 takes the total £510, I might as well go for a full system if I'm looking to spend that much money!

Any cheaper/more readily available solutions plz :)

Cuffy has them on his. Ask him the company name if anything.

I'd usually direct you to beowulf, as the guy there can do link pipes, but hes so popular now that he won't do them, unless you wait a few weeks for them.
Matt went there last week as Raptor pipes are far and few between. The other option is to go to Zorstec and have them made up there. Hes used them before, when he required the linkpipe made up for the Art can on her, many years ago.

Edit, surely if you buy his Warrior cans (which are rather nice I may add) they should come with links anyway.

zorstec looks absolutely smart as hell but at £80 per pipe I was a bit shocked

as for the warrior cans, on the sv1000, they're bolt on cans i.e. no cutting of original pipework, the cans just unbolt and drop off the stock pipework then the warrior cans just bolt right in place.

Think it maybe a case of getting the cans first and then looking at link pipes later on/next year - after all it's only a cosmetic thing :) having said that, I've already ordered the chewys exhaust toe-in adapter plates to angle the cans inwards slightly :)

mate at work has high level on his sv1000 but he had the pipework made for him it looks mint! how would high level pipes work on the 1000 as its bolt on fitment? surely the headers would need to be changed.

well, the guy at zorstec said he'd need the bike and cans for about half a day, maybe longer, so that he could make them to fit exactly - I asked if the bolt on section (flanges?) would be identical to the stock stuff, to which he said "yep, identical fittment, only with pipework to lift it higher up"

hence £80 a piece! yikers

lol I know I know, it's the right thing to do... it's just the cost, I was expecting about £40 to £50 absolute top end for some reason. With the labour and the equipment involved (and the quality of finish from the zorstec stuff), I can understand the £80 asking price - I just can't afford it lol...
