PJ1 hi temp. Plastikote BBQ paint. These work OK on stroker parts, should be ok on SV pipe.
Want me to do some tests on mine? (as you know, my pipes will look no worse for some paint) |

Ploppy put some BBQ paint on his GS500. Worked Fine! Just took a few runs for the nasty smells to go ha ha.

Re: paint that deals with serious heat
No worries about that on the 125 ... the smell of castrol TTS overpowers all others.

Re: paint that deals with serious heat
Don't Motrax do that high temp paint for exhausts and brakes?
Only a few colours like http://www.motrax.co.uk/index.php?mod=product&id_prd=91 Not sure if they still sell it? |
Re: paint that deals with serious heat
loads of companies do exhaust paint. i got some stuff from "motorists discount stores" that is a satin rather than matt finsh and is suitable for down pipes and engines etc. can't quite remember the name but it was specific stuff for bikes. worked ok on my ZZR but will need redoing this summer I think.
