Lost disc lock keys.

I leave things on the stairs and my girlfriend 'puts them away' then completely forgets where and denies all knowledge of ever seeing them.

Usually they turn up in a draw or hidden in her shoes..........on this occasion they appear to be on the moon.

Which leaves me with a problem.........

How the **** (without damaging disc as I need to ride tomorrow) do you get a disc lock off without keys?

Ask a local chav if they can remove it:smt104.....some of them are experts at it I believe.

I'm not helping am I?
Angle grinder should do it. If its an old one should be a piece of cake.Wouldn't work on mine though. Its impossible. Which is why I have a spare key in my jacket pocket and three or four spares 'put in easy to find places'

If it's one of those old ones with a circular key you can open it with a biro pen apparently - just google 'disc lock' and 'biro pen' together and you should get a raft of videos showing you how it's done.

Had that very argument this evening, for the 2nd or 3rd time this week! Tonight it was my bike key. Same argument has been going on for 6 years now. I've now emptied a drawer and asked that anything of mine that she thinks has been "left lying around" (it's an inhabited house, not a feckin showhome!), should be put in this drawer. The theory is if I've lost something I'll check that drawer, and every so often I'll empty it and put everything back it in it's rightful place.

As for the disk lock, sorry I can't help with that one.
