ecu restrictor test?
hi just recently purchased and installed an ecu restrictor for my pointy k6, but is there any easy way to find out if the ecu restrictor actually works? cant feel any difference while riding on the bike?

Re: ecu restrictor test?
is that to restrict it to 33bhp? I thought you had to change the whole ecu for that.

Re: ecu restrictor test?
Did you replace ECU? it doesnt feel much diff because of the torque i find mine tends to lose all power at 8k rpm and top end is just below 100 on a flat, just get out and ride it (if you can) and see if you notice a difference

Re: ecu restrictor test?
If you can't tell if it's restricted or not, what's the worry? :p He said to the po leece
MOVING ON I hear it loses power above 8k. You would be able to tell coming from a full power ECU to a restricted one. |
Re: ecu restrictor test?
You should notice that the power band is shorter than a full power so you'll need to work through the gears more so. Just try and get 120 on the clock! :)

Re: ecu restrictor test?
Go to a private runway and open it up. If you can't get past 113-118 then it's restricted. If it keeps going then there's something not right.
