Are these a good choice of glove?
Leather gloves with kevlar on knuckles. Seem decent for the money. Anyone had any experience with them?

I take it no one's bought any of these before? I ordered a pair last night so I'll let you all know what they're like.

Re: Are these a good choice of glove?
Main thing i would be worried about is the wrist restraint, looks good as it goes all the way round. But they are a £20 glove.

If you are looking for a good pair of gloves, Ride magazine has recommended Spada Enforcer as a year-round glove. I've recently seen those in Ride magazine but havent been able to find a pair in US so far.

Thanks for the suggestion sv650sfan but I went for the ebay gloves.
http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/8/1/6...53021575_o.jpg They're actually very good quality. (Well at least they seem it at the moment). Quality of the leather is good and the kevlar protection is obviously very tough. Quite comfortable too! |

They look like the same ones Aldi have been selling near me recently. Seem decent enough for the money.

Re: Are these a good choice of glove?
Hmm. Look very similar to ones i got at the Scottish Bike Show for about £30. Seemed ok, til you needed them to protect you. The main problem is that silver mesh knuckle protector bit. It's not up to much at all. Made to look like moulded carbon/kevlar etc. but it's just plastic. The mesh forced its way thru the leather on the inside and into the back of my hand, which was nice. Still got the scar, and that was years ago. These may not be the same though, just a warning from seeing the pics. |
