Carb balancing
 

On my journey to the TV meet my carbs seem to have got worse, and on the journey back it was a touch rough to say the least. Surging from about 1000rpm to 1400rpm idle, and even noticeable at a 30 mph trundle.
I blame Sarj as his carbs are giving him trouble and they seem to have made mine worse by proxy.
So could I burrow someone carb tune/vacuums so I could get them balanced. If you don't want to lend them out I'm more then willing to travel to get it sorted, though my memory will need a poke to recall the correct screws. I finish work at 5pm so any time after that I am avalible to travel, though I was hoping to get to the SELKENT meet.

Well I came in this morning on the bike and it was only surging from about 12-13000rpm so I guess the cold night air last night didn't help.

I'll bring mine down this evening your Grinchoid. You may need to find a couple of bits of hose as mine are attached to the bike!! Or come round this evening after work and we can do it before we leave

Failing that, Sarj has just asked to borrow my carbtune gauges, so I'll be giving him them tomorrow for a bit.

Hose.. I have one from front carb... or do you mean just to connect to the carbtune?
What time you leaving for Selkent as I won't be leaving the St Paul's area till after 6.

Ah, nice... working at 12 tomorrow so I might be able to do it in the morning.

Grinchoid. You then have the pipe you need. Im aiming to get down to Selkent for about 8ish i reckon.

Confused. See me at selkent, or see me at mine? You going to use jambos carbtune thingy?

Mate my new carbtune arrived at my desk today! You are free to use it tonight if you give me a hand doing mine ;-) could drop pasted on the way home if you want I travel from heathrow to kent thru town?
